Dear Glidecam,

We produce a weekly home improvement television show where our studio is the construction site - not exactly the optimal shooting environment. In most cases the terrain is rocky and uneven with bumps, dips, even shallow holes not to mention other obstacles & hazards such as scrap piles, stacks of lumber .

Shooting in such conditions was challenging to say the least. Dolly shots are impractical and a smooth and steady shoulder mount shot nearly impossible.

After some debate, we decided to investigate the feasibility of a camera stabilization platform. Much to our dismay, we found that the available platforms were far too expensive or lacked the features that we needed for a truly professional look - that is until we came across the Glidecam.

With the Glidecam we found a complete line of products & accessories to suit our needs and a knowledgeable staff to answer our many questions. We eventually decided on the V-16 package.

I can say with all confidence, this was one of the best decisions we have made. The Glidecam offers the flexibility and versatility we needed under less than ideal shooting conditions.
